Gold ETFs can be purchased on the NSE just like any other share. You need to open a demat and trading account. The most popular Gold ETF is Gold BeES which is the oldest and by far has the largest volume, nearly 4 times more than any other ETF. While investing in ETFs its best to invest in an ETF which is liquid because this will ensure a fair price everytime you buy and sell.
